About Heather
Heather has been dancing on and off since the age of 4. She discovered bellydance when she accompanied a friend to Studio 318 in 2005, but she discovered a passion for it while taking a workshop with Zoe Jakes. She hasn't stopped dancing since. She studied with Carmen Cavanaugh and Lori Whitman at Studio 318 (now closed) for several years.
Heather is currently a student with both Diane Carter (Daliana of Troupe Bellysima) and Sara Beaman. She has taken workshops with Zoe Jakes, Rachel Brice, Mardi Love, Unmata, and a number of local instructors.
Always a fan of the darker side of things, Heather takes a special interest in Gothic/Dark Fusion. Her biggest influences are The Indigo, Ariellah and Tempest.
